The Tekoa United Church of Christ was formed in 1971 by the combining of the United Methodist Church, the Baptist Church, and the Christian Church.
Pastor Bill Johnson holds church service on each Sunday at 11:00am with praise singing follwed by regular church service. Sunday adult Bible study starts at 10:00am and children's Sunday School begins at 11:00am. There is also a Youth Group consisting of 7th-12th grades that meets on Sunday evenings.
