| The Iron Horse Arena is used for many events during the year, but one big event is during our Slippery Gulch Celebration. It is the PRCA Rodeo, and you will be amazed at the talented people that participate in this rodeo. The Iron Horse Arena was just one of the exciting things to happen in Tekoa and everyone has a great time at the events. |
| Tekoa Mountain is so picturesque and can be seen from anywhere in town.This mountain is known for some of the best Paragliding and Hang Gliding in the area. Winds can come up from the West, East or South. There are good take off areas for each direction. It is also a good place to see native plant habitat, and don't be surprised if you see deer or elk , or even a moose feeding there as well. People have really taken up this sport, and this is the place to come and do it. Or if paragliding and hang gliding does not interest you, just take a drive to the top for a picnic, as the view is well worth your trip. |
