Slippery Gulch

Committee Meeting

Minutes
March 20th,
 2007

The Slippery Gulch Committee met March 20th  at 7:00.

The following items were discussed:

Angie Rambo reported on the Fireworks Auction.  She will be working with the Tekoa Chamber of Commerce to have a dessert and silent auction.  She will be in charge of obtaining the silent auction items, etc.  A date has not been set yet, but looks like May.

Susannah Scaroni has agreed to represent Tekoa Slippery Gulch as Grand Marshall of parade.  Debbie will work with her for the window display.

John Jaeger will contact Plants of the Wild and McGregor who are the businesses to donate for t-shirts.  The t-shirt drawing contest for Tekoa students only had two entries from one individual.  It was decided to have Joel Kimball draw some suggestions and bring back to the committee to chose.

Doug Sienknecht reported that the Arena will have a Ranch Class 1 Trail ride during the slippery gulch celebration.  Details will be forthcoming.

Sara reported that the photo contest deadline entry will be May 24, 2007.  Flyers advertising the event have been posted.  There are still a number of calenars left at the stores for sale; price has been reduced to $5.

Next meeting is scheduled for April 17th, at 7 pm at Tekoa Chamber Commerce building.
