RESOLUTION #99-12.1
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEKOA, WASHINGTON, FIXING FEES, FINES AND RATES BY RESOLUTION.
WHEREAS, the City Council for the City of Tekoa has determined that it is advantageous to set fees by resolution,
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Tekoa the following fees shall be assessed:
WATER ORDINANCE FEES:
Violations – Penalty:
~100.00 for the first offense
~250.00 for the second offense
~500.00 for the third offense
Service Connection Fee:
~1000.00 minimum plus actual cost of the installation if more than $1000.00.
Water Rates:
~Water rates inside city limits: $48.50
~Water rates outside city limits: $55.00
~Water overage:
$1.00 per 1000 gallons over 5000 gallons
Late Fee:
~$5.00
Re-connection Fee:
~$20.00
Surcharge for vacant homes:
~$20.00
Cap water lines at property line:
~$500.00 minimum (actual expenses if more than $500.00)
SEWER ORDINANCE FEES:
Sewer Rates:
~Sewer rates inside city limits: $44.00
~Sewer rates outside city limits: $49.00
Service Connection Fee:
~1000.00 minimum plus actual cost of the installation if more than $1000.00.
Late Fee:
~$5.00
Surcharge for vacant homes:
~$10.00 and then the same increase as the yearly sewer rate increase.
Cap sewer lines at property line:
~$500.00 minimum (actual expenses if more than $500.00)
CHARGE TO SUB-DIVIDE PROPERTY:
~$250.00 plus the cost of legal fees
DOG FEES AND FINES:
~ $25.00 Annual Fee for Commercial Kennel License
Annual License Fee for the following:
~ $2.00 for each dog kept in a licensed commercial kennel
~ $10.00 for all neutered or spayed dog to be licensed by an owner or keeper
~ $20.00 for all other dogs to be licensed by an owner or keeper
Impoundment Fee for Unrestrained Dogs:
~ $10.00 for each day a licensed dog is impounded
~ $50.00 for each day an unlicensed dog is impounded
Cost of a Lifetime License:
~ $100.00
Dog Defined as Public Nuisance:
~ No fine for first conviction
~ $50.00, at least, for second conviction involving the same dog
~ $100.00 at least, for third conviction involving the same dog
Penalties:
~ Any person convicted of violating any provision of this Chapter shall be fined:
~ Not less than $25.00 and not more than $500.00.
~ Any person convicted of violating any provision of §8.08.056 shall be fined
~ $250.00 for the first conviction
~ $500.00 for a second or any subsequent violation
COMMUNITY CENTER RENTAL FEES:
One day rental fee
~ $75.00 Commercial Rental Fee
~ $25.00 Individual Rental Fee
~ $75.00 Deposit (to be returned after inspection)
