2026 Meeting Dates
2026 Council Meeting Dates (meetings are held at the Tekoa City Hall Council Chambers at 6 P.M.):
- January 5 & 13 (to accommodate MLK Day)
- February 2 & 17 (to accommodate Presidents' Day)
- March 2 & 16
- April 6 & 20
- May 4 & 18
- June 15: A Six-Year Transportation Hearing will be held during the regular council meeting.
- July 20: A Special Tax Levy Hearing will be held during the regular council meeting. (July 6 may be scheduled, if needed.)
- August 17 (Aug. 3 may be scheduled, if needed.)
- September 8 & 21 (to accommodate Labor Day)
- October 5 & 19 (A Preliminary Budget Workshop will be advertised and held in October; it will be open to the public.)
- November 2: A Tax Levy Hearing and a Preliminary Budget Hearing will be held during the regular meeting.
- December 7: The Final Budget Hearing will be held during the regular council meeting.
